Role Overview

The Business Development lead drives strategic growth for the Nashville Big Game Business Ecosystem through high-value partnerships, enterprise account acquisition, and ecosystem expansion. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the founder, with equity participation potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute partnership strategy with Nashville's major institutions (Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association). Build enterprise partnerships with national hotel chains, restaurant groups, and service providers. Negotiate sponsorship and advertising agreements. Represent the ecosystem at industry conferences and events. Identify acquisition and expansion opportunities. Build and manage a business development team as the ecosystem grows.

Requirements

5+ years of business development or strategic partnership experience. Deep knowledge of Nashville's business, hospitality, or events industry. Existing network within Nashville's business community strongly preferred. Track record of closing $100K+ deals. Experience with startup or high-growth environments. MBA or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel 25-40% during peak periods.

Compensation

Base: $75,000-$120,000. Performance bonus: up to 30% of base. Equity participation: discussed during final interview stage. Benefits: health insurance, PTO, professional development. This is a W-2 full-time position.
