Overview
Nashville's new stadium and surrounding infrastructure projects create significant opportunities for construction and trades contractors. Beyond the stadium itself, game week requires temporary structures, signage, staging, and infrastructure modifications throughout the downtown corridor.
New Stadium
Nashville's new enclosed stadium (replacing the current Nissan Stadium) is the centerpiece of Super Bowl LXIV infrastructure. Construction timeline, subcontractor opportunities, and specifications will be released through official channels. Monitor Nashville Metro government procurement for RFPs.
Temporary Structures
Game week requires: temporary staging and platforms (fan zones, media areas). Tent structures for outdoor events (engineered, permitted). Signage and wayfinding installations throughout downtown. Temporary fencing and barricades. Portable restroom facilities. Temporary power infrastructure. Timeline: most temporary structures are installed 2-4 weeks before game day.
Permitting
Metro Nashville building permits required for: any structure over 200 sq ft, electrical work, plumbing connections, signage over 32 sq ft. Expedited permitting may be available for Super Bowl-related projects. Contact Metro Nashville Codes Department early for guidance.
OSHA Compliance
All construction must comply with OSHA standards: 10-hour OSHA safety training for all workers. 30-hour OSHA for supervisory personnel. Fall protection for work above 6 feet. Personal protective equipment provided and required. Job hazard analysis for each work site. Safety data sheets for all chemicals.
