Event Production & AV

Market Opportunity
Every official and unofficial Super Bowl event requires production support — from stadium-grade LED screens to intimate corporate dinner AV. Nashville's strong music and entertainment infrastructure gives local AV companies a competitive advantage. Total production spend: $15-30 million across a host city's game week.
Equipment Needs
LED screens/walls (indoor and outdoor, weather-rated for February). Professional sound systems (line arrays for large events, point-source for intimate). Lighting (intelligent fixtures, wash lights, spotlights, gobo projectors). Staging (modular, load-rated, with ADA-compliant ramps). Video production (cameras, switchers, streaming equipment). Power distribution (generators, distro panels, cable management).
Venue Technical Specs
Know Nashville venues: power availability (single-phase vs three-phase), rigging points and weight limits, load-in access (dock height, door dimensions), noise ordinance restrictions by zone, internet/WiFi infrastructure. Request venue technical riders 3-6 months ahead.
Union Labor
Nashville is a right-to-work state (TN Code Ann. § 50-1-201 et seq.), but some venues and contracts may require union labor: IATSE Local 492 (stagehands). Research venue requirements before bidding. Factor union labor rates into quotes if applicable.
